"Nebraska currently has two vacant scholarships for the 2012-13 season, and is expecting a visit this weekend from wing Terran Petteway, who’s transferring from Texas Tech.

A native of Galveston, Texas, the 6-6, 185-pound Petteway averaged 3.1 points last season as a freshman. He played at Ball High School, averaging 25.1 points and 8.4 rebounds his senior season.

Petteway, who committed to former Tech coach Pat Knight, is among five players to leave the Tech program after last season, the first under coach Billy Gillespie."

"Texas Tech transfer Terran Petteway took an official basketball visit to Nebraska over the weekend, and is leaving as a Husker.
The 6-foot-6, 185-pound wing from Galveston, Texas, has signed his letter of intent, although official word from Nebraska won’t come until sometime this week."
