    NEBRASKA VS CREIGHTON - BASEBALL THREAD - 5-8-12 - 3rd of 3 games

Guys, I will be out of town, Wednesday thru Friday evening. My Uncle Arthur, 2 months shy of his 107th! birthday, passed away the other day. I am flying to the Bay Area, to pay my respects. Uncle Arthur was a wonderful uncle, and a great person. One of the greatest compliments bestowed on him, from my cousin, was: Uncle Arthur was a Mensch.

I may, or may not be on the forum this evening. I will watch when possible, for I have a few things to do, to get ready for my trip.

A little prayer for my uncle would be appreciated.

    God bless

    Bob

My condolences to you and your family.
I really hate Penn State! (And I'm not that wild about Iowa either.)

    Thank you, csker. Much appreciated.

So, the game on NET won't be on until 6:30? Not sure, and I can't get onto NETTV.

    here is the audio:

Thanks, csker. I didn't see where it started at 7. I have that link open, but it shows "failed". Not starting until 7 gives me hope.

I am going to take a flight into Phoenix, for a 2hr layover. I tried to save $150, by going thru Phoenix, then to SF. My wife told me,
why? That's what our savings are for!! She was all over me! Hey, I have nothing to do, after arriving to SFO. Might as well enjoy
    the Phoenix sun, right?

I'm with your wife. Sky Harbor is not my favorite airport.

I shouldn't be typing, but my arm feels ok. My doctor would be all over me! Seems, he had to drain 6 cc's more blood, then gave me a steroid shot. Man, that hurt. So far, my abs have not turned to muscle!

In the morning, I'll be able to take the wrap off, then take a much-needed shower! Whew, 2 days without a shower! Can you smell anything bad?

Over 11K fans due tonight. Must be a large convoy from Lincoln?

Last time I flew into Phoenix, it was midnight, and the temp was well over 100!!! I'll never forget that,
    because I was in a DC4!!! I melted!!

Wow, their roster posted! Strange, how some have too many characters, so it won't display! So, that tells me,

CREIGHTON HAS VERY LITTLE CHARACTER!!!!! ;(

I also want to wish my dad a Happy Birthday. If he were alive today, he would be 104 years old! Happy Birthday, once again, dad.

BTW, my mom will be 101 years old, come November 4! Yeh, she's still kickin'!
