    Early team rankings on Scout.com

Nebraska comes in at #17 with 6 recruits. 3 big ten teams ahead of us with Michigan at #1 with 3 5-star recruits. Glad to see the big ten getting talent.

I'm not excited about other Big 10 teams getting talent.
I really hate Penn State! (And I'm not that wild about Iowa either.)

Good point and me too, just kind of a hatred for the SEC and BIG 12 kinda statement.

Not to sound too much like a dolt, but who is our "top 100" recruit?

Nebraska's newest commit, Christian Lacouture is ranked #100 by scout.

I'm sure Scout will move him down significantly since he's commited to Nebraska.

I am. I think over all that helps the conference as well as NU. Being able to match the SEC is great for a program. Schools like Boise St & TCU don't get much respect because of the talent they were facing in their conferences during their undefeated seasons. I would like for NU to get more talent and develop that talent to be more productive that the talent we weren't able to pull from our conference rivals. Great football is what I hope for every weekend.

    +100

Bring it, Big Ten -- stronger conference ONLY helps NU.

Absolutly, if we wanted to be the strongest team in a conference right now we would have to go to the Mountain West or something. We need to be pushed to be better and the B1G is a great place to for NU to be to gain strength, just like Oklahoma pushed the Huskers in the 80's.
