I think term limits is silly for one branch. If you just want one branch to have them congress is the branch that needs it. Career politicians are killing this country.

Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men. Some time ago Theudas appeared, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing. After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and led a band of people in revolt. He too was killed, and all his followers were scattered. Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.” - Gamalie the Pharisee - Addressing the Sanhedrin regarding the new group called Christians

IMO, term limits is the one single change that could have a huge positive impact on how our government functions similar to tort refrom being one change that can have a huge positive impact on the health care crisis.

What bothers me the most about this thing is if I read this right, Obama's policies see the government as taking care of Julia from when she is born to when she is dead. So is that the new Democratic vision, the government taking care of your every need?
    Go Government Go!

every need? or just some assistance for school and medical help.
those were the only 2 issues being discussed...

For the last 40 some years we have been slowly turning in to that. You wonder why we have so much debt. Then when we go bankrupt and all those people that get government help will not get it anymore all because people on the left are OK with that. Then you have the people on the right you can't seem to understand spending money you don't have does not work.

The reason all these programs are put in place to get people reelected. As long as that holds true this country is on the way down the toilet.

It amases you that people have different opinions you mean.

No, it is amazing they think there opinion of European economic polices works and is the best. Just look at what a financial mess they are in over there. It is all from the Government getting too much involved in peoples life's.

Correct. Look at what the reaction is when a country takes measures to rectify the problem by taking away the nanny state....it reminds me of the OWS movement.

i was going to go to mexico when my job is done here...thinking now the czech republic.
i think it funny some would suggest i leave because i have a different opinion...my only reply would be . I have earned my right to live here.
in the mean time i still really enjoy helping those less fortunate as my self

I missed the part where Julia strikes in the street as the country implements austerity measures in response to being unable to continue to issue debt and maintain unsustainable spending.
