WoooHooo we're ranked higher than Boise St
Now let's see if we can catch K-State
Wisconsin, Michigan St and Michigan are all ranked higher too.
CNNSI post spring Top 25....

That would put us at third place in the division again. Wisconsin and Michigan at home sure won't hurt.

I wonder how close I could come to matching those rankings with a dart board and a handfull of darts?

I don't agree with a couple of the standings but ours is pretty accurate I guess. We really havent done much to argue something better.

I agree about the Huskers and no way the cheese heads are #6.

Wow, that guy must be a huge Husker fan to rank us that high. We should, however, be much better than #17 but you'd be hard pressed to find a lot of agreement since we haven't shown much for a decade.

I agree. Way overrated for this coming year especially with Wilson gone. I wouldn't be surprised if they lost at least 3 conference games this year.

Just a hunch that W. Va. and Wiscy are over-rated in this guy's opinion.
Husker's ranking seems about right, until we can prove otherwise.

While that's true, I don't think he were using the last decade to determine this poll. I'm thinking he was looking more into what happened last season and what he thinks will happen next.

I hate to say this, but Michigan is going to house us, I don't care if it's at home or not as that has nothing to do with our wins and losses...

Not at home. I see it alot like the Mich St game last year.....Huskers win or lose a close one.

all seem about as right as any picks would be in May

Why do people think that we have a chance since we are at home? I still don't get that....mobile QBs home or away are what kill us, not whether we have a home field advantage or not....

Sounds about right, although I wouldn't say TMart is a good runner.

I do think the home field edge is HUGE for us in all games. That said, they buried us last year and it will be a tough fought Husker win, IF we prevail.
PS-to win, we'll need to see that rarest of Pelini-coached games...the game where we commit relatively few penalties and turnovers. And, the game where the opposing team (and coaches) lose their cool more than we do.

Me too, I just don't think people get how good they are going to be this year. And mobile QBs our defense have shown to this point we can't handle, and they have one of the best in the nation as far as that's concerned.

Then can we say that he is just an average runner that gained 1839 yards and averaged 5.3 yards per carry for the last two years. (In my mind that would qualify as a "good" runner --- maybe not "great", but definitely good! I'd guess it is a matter of interpretation or perception.)
The only thing worse than having nothing to say is saying it.

he's incredibly fast, but not very elusive.
