Polls suggest it's still pretty much a partisan effort...with some predictions looking much like the 2010 election.

I don't doubt that many of the signatures on the recall petitions are Republican. Public Safety personnel represent a dichotomy of sorts. On the one hand, they tend to lean very conservative in a majority of their evaluation of various issues...and register heavily as Republicans. Yet, their livelihoods and careers benefit greatly from union protection. I think Wisconsin leans right enough to counter this push, but the reforming of essentially all public sector jobs means you are going to potentially impact large numbers of Republicans who just might not be comfortable with it.

Why are you in favor of Wisconsin being destroyed, SBH? They make good cheese up there. Once the nefarious process is complete, I wonder if Lake Michigan will fill in where Wisconsin used to be, or if will just be a desolate wasteland utterly bereft of cheese curds and Packer fans.

Any chance of carving the discarded foam cheeseheads into foam cornheads?

I doubt if anything will survive the Wiscopocalypse let alone something as flimsy as foam.

LOL. So you're wondering why no "righters" are criticizing a Republican governor for doing something that there's no evidence of him doing?

    Nice.

This is my thing with this. Unions flat out lied on there TV commercials here in Ohio over SB5 which was Ohio's version of the Wisconsin bill.

All these laws said was it gives the elected people the power to control what unions can get paid in salary and benefits.

Some of the union guys I work with don't think the voters or the elected officials should have the say in what they get paid only the courts or (collective bargaining which is tipped in the union favor)

    So Red Reign and Warhorse:

What is wrong with treating a union how the private sector is treated? That is all these laws are doing. Making it a level playing field.

Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men. Some time ago Theudas appeared, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing. After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and led a band of people in revolt. He too was killed, and all his followers were scattered. Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.” - Gamalie the Pharisee - Addressing the Sanhedrin regarding the new group called Christians

No evidence?? The cold hard fact is that Walker certainly has been running all over the country drumming up outstate donations. The only question is...has he been doing on the Wisconsin taxpayers' dime?

900,000 people signing a pettition doesn't mean they all think Wisconsin is in the process of being destroyed....you know that, right?

Exactly! You want righters to criticize him for traveling at the expense of the taxpayers, yet you admit there's no evidence of him doing so. So, what exactly are you wanting righters to criticize him for?

Sorry I thought you meant there was no evidence of him traveling at all.
