I don't care for Romney by the way but if can (as a successful businessman) understand and pass a budget that would be great.
I think Romney has a much better grasp or the economy and how it works.

Force the government to offer a comparative plan at actual cost. I'd imagine business could manage a better price.
I agree. Would love a middle of the road 3rd party!

How about a caring society...than no need to go full blown no-fun no-diversity socialist. The extremes of any point of view are what keep that from happening.

A common program offered to employees today is profit-sharing, so employees--who actually make up the corporation--usually care a great deal about the almighty dollar.
Individual shareholders care about the almighty $$$ as well, not to mention those who's holdings are in mutual funds...

It would, IMO, IF, IF, it led to a true bipartisan effort that accomplished the problems. Don't get me wrong I really don't think it's a slam dunk just because Romney or any other pub is elected. There is something to be said about the country embracing something if they believe it was done with input from both sides and had a majority support from both sides. I know it's hard to imagine that happening.
When Obama was elected, I know this will be hard to believe, I really hoped that he was the real deal and would lead like he campaigned. The whole healthcare issue and how it was handled really soured me on him. I admit he was on a short leash with me but, I did give him a chance.

Or does your logic only flow in one direction?
Of course it does, occasionally. I have stated on several occasions that Bush was too big a spender. I also believed that his philosophy to give back surplus money to the taxpayers is the correct one, however, to implement Cov D with projected surpluses was not something I thought was a good idea and it was a mistake. I was glad he was CC after 9/11.

Testify brother! The conservative right wing (a wholly owned subsidiary of the Koch brothers) would happily deny coverage coverage to millions. They have been brain washed in to believing that it is somehow in their best interest to forego coverage for the betterment of the top half of the 1%. 1984 ain't got nothing on those boys. Just throw in abortion and gun rights and people will follow without so much as a second thought.

What percentage of the population do you believe is uncovered by private insurance, Medicare, or state programs like MediCal?

I personally think for those that happens to, it quite simply sux, and not something to be happy about.

That's a huge strawman. I know exactly what a company is and how it will make decisions for it's own best interest, basically as it is required to do for the benefit of its shareholders. Companies aren't charities.
I also know the option that is being created is highly inferior for those that will be losing their health insurance.
If this strawman is one of your arguments in favor of this, that's incredibly disappointing.

Against my better judgement to engage you in any type of dialogue, I have to correct your lie. I don't get mad when Bush gets blamed, bored maybe, when Obama still trys to blame him for racking up more debt in 3 1/2 years then all presidents before him combined, I hardly think the two cases are comparable.

Well if they believe that 48 million is 1/4 of the US population than yes they are wrong.
