Has he had a knee injury? I noticed a brace on his left knee...
Found the following:
Notre Dame assistant Mike Elston was dispatched by head coach Brian Kelly to check on both Zaire and Hart last week.
“Coach Elston said he loved the way I moved,” said Hart. “He said I’m athletic enough to play for him and I can do just about everything.
“He was really coming to see how my knee was because I had knee surgery sophomore year. He was coming to see how that was. On film, he said it looked like I was limping a little bit, but I proved to him that everything was perfectly fine and he loved what he saw.”
The beauty of the internet....he seems to have ran a pretty good 40 which I believe was after his injury and i'm sure getting thru a whole season without re-injuring it is what they staff needed to see...

Notre Dame only had one Rudy but Nebraska gets a new crop of Rudys every season
You think he'll redshirt or be able to compete to play right away?
Personally I think he will redshirt, I think it would benefit him and Nebraska greatly. Hopefully Pelini has learned from guys like Quincy Enunwa and Andrew Rodriguez as kids who were capable of playing as freshmen, but would have benefited more from a RS. I think Hart is a very good prospect, but I think he needs to add some more bulk and hit the weight room. I know articles are referencing him as being Kyler Reed's replacement, but I dont think he is nearly as explosive as Reed. I dont think its a fair comparison. If anything, he reminds me of former Huskers Tracey Wistrom and Mike McNeill.
With the huge void at TE that Nebraska will have in 2013, I think he clearly could earn some PT. I think in the end though that Nebraska will sign a JUCO TE and he will be used right away. I also really like the potential of redshirt frosh David Sutton and think he will make the 2-deep next year along with the potential JUCO signing.
