    Occupy returns today!

The workers in this country work on Tuesdays.

The lazy and unemployed aren't the kind of people you can depend on to keep showing up.

Today will be an epic fail for occupy.

Envelopes containing suspicious powder were sent through the mail to at least seven locations in Manhattan, primarily Wells Fargo banks, police officials said.

"This is a reminder that you are not in control," said a message that arrived with the envelopes. "Just in case you needed some incentive to stop working we have a little surprise for you. Think fast you have seconds."

Several samples tested negative -- evidently containing corn starch, police said. Later, all the powder samples were determined to be non-toxic, The Associated Press reported.

The receipt of the white powder prompted evacuations at bank branches, police told the AP, but caused no injuries.

Do you refute the story or the source?

And oh how us liberals long for the May Day Parades from years gone by with overweight old men wearing fur caps reviewing soldiers and weapons.

that they at first suspected it was tied to OWS...no not at all, but then I think they started using common sense to realize what a great opportunity it would be for someone to pull this and blame it on OWS...

Yes. in fact, it refutes itself.

Police initially suggested the suspicious envelopes could have been mailed by militants from within the Occupy Wall Street movement, but a spokesman for Occupy Wall Street denied any connection to the mailings, saying the NYPD was making a false assumption. Police had no suspects in the mailings, the AP reported. "

The funniest thing about comments like this is the irony that it's made on a message board, a notorious time waster.

Does you boss know you post here a lot?

    Your clients?

    Your wife?

Even if they do, are you working?

I love the hypocrisy of the right. So much fodder to toss about.

    That hardly rules out anything.

The police believed San Francisco-based Wells Fargo might have been targeted for white powder mailings because about half of a key dozen Occupy Wall Street members have backgrounds in Oakland, San Francisco and Berkeley, and similar incidents occurred in California earlier this week, police sources said.

And the ignorance of the left will never cease to amaze!

Maybe he is retired, maybe its vacation, maybe its lunch.. but to question it as though you may have a foothold for criticism is laughable.

I guess operation "Occupy Parents Basement" is taking a break so old dad can do the spring fumigation...after mom does the spring cleaning. Nice the kids are getting some fresh air.

Occupy's General Strike today isn't even the lead on Huffington Post. I'm guessing that's a bad sign.

IMO, the smartest thing liberals could do before moderates start paying attention to politics before the election would be to try to find a way to distance themselves from the work day Occupy set. Most moderates will think, "Really? You're with them?"

If anyone's interested in a good piece describing the origins of the Occupy movement, here's another New Yorker piece (you really should subscribe) that dives into some detail that doesn't generally get reported: http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2..._fact_schwartz

Isn't it funny in this country we make fun of kids that live with their parents. Of generations staying together helping each other out. The American culture sure is one built of shame and guilt. I for one have my daughter living with me along with my grandson and mother in law. they all can stay as long as needed in fact i hope none ever leave. They all pay their share. and we all share in the hardships and take advantage f the good times.

Yet especially in the white culture you are taught you will never amount to anything unless you get out there on your own....so so very sad.

    Sad Indeed.

its even better when we can make fun of them.....man that makes us all feel better
