A former intelligence official who was serving in the US government when bin Laden was killed said that the Obama administration knew about the al-Qaeda leader’s whereabouts in October 2010 but delayed taking action and risked letting him escape.

In the end, Obama was forced to make a decision and do it. He knew that if he didn’t do it the political risks in not taking action were huge.

Doesn't bother me at all. I gave credit to Obama in another thread awhile back. What I find interesting is that the Obama campaign isn't subtle enough to know how to score political points by crediting the SEALs.

I think it funny ...wasn't it at the end of 2008 we as a country were told OBL was no longer a threat and there were bigger fish to fry.

Now we have someone saying Obama risked OBL escaping if action was not taken.


Well guess what folk, He did take Action and his action provided results. Had the the milatry action failed would we have gone back to OBL not being a threat or would we be blaming Obama for the failure?
