A great Husker fan passed on today.

Hi fellow Husker fanatics. I know I don't post much on here, but I thought I'd ask for your prayers and thoughts as my mom passed away this afternoon. She taught at the UNL for many years. Her claim to fame was having Johnny Rodgers as her student. There was a time that she could tell me the underwear size of most of the Husker players on any given football roster. She really loved her Huskers. I know that she will be rooting them on from the best seat in the house next season. Huskernation has lost a great fan.

It doesn’t matter if the glass is half full or half empty. What matters is you have a glass that has something in it. Some people have no glass, or have a glass with nothing in it. So appreciate all that is in your life and quit questioning whether your glass in half full or half empty.

Sorry for your loss. My mom was a great Gig Red fan, also. Maybe they'll have seats by each other.
