As long as this doesn't mean that Bailey is going else where, I like it. I like this kids film but Bailey I think is a better prospect for this offense. I could understand taking two QBs as someone mentioned already that Bubba moving on and Turner at WR. Get them both in an redshirt while Carnes and Armstrong push each other for a 2-3 years. Martinez will have graduated by the time they see the field.
Full disclosure: I grew up in an era of Husker football when it was blasphemous for a coach to say he was "spooked" out of calling a run play. Of course, that was when hard-nosed running defined the program.

It's difficult to establish a strong run game without firm resolve. Daily resolve. In too many instances — such as when Nebraska calls for passes on third-and-3 in four-down territory — a lack of commitment is evident.

I like his guy. Keeps his head up. Simple rush aversion. Not many non-essential movements. This is a guy I think could take teaching well based on his skills now.

2 QB's wouldn't scare Aaron Bailey away either, the spin is "this is how much we need to find the QB of our future".

Looking at it from a recruits perspective, smart money is on TMart having the job for the next 2 years. Even if Carnes wins the job for his Senior campaign, the QB of the future isn't even on campus yet....unless Marsh or Broekmeier win it. But from a recruits stand-point, they think that they can beat out a walk-on. So i'm sure the coaches are saying, once Carnes and Martinez are gone, either Armstrong wins the job with 3 years to start, or whoever we get this year with 4 years to start. That is VERY enticing to an incoming recruit.

Well I guess that we did offer this kid because Bailey isn't coming to Lincoln.

RR is a prophet. In this case, a prophet of doom.

Does Turner stick to WR or does he perhaps move back to QB to compete with Carnes after Martinez graduates?

I think he will stay put at WR as a certain pro-coach said he likes the potential of Turner at that position and I wouldn't doubt other NFL scouts would like the same in the up coming years.

I like how his throws seem so effortless! Already has good pocket presence and footwork! His running style reminds me of Taylor in how his body is straight up and down.

Armstrong is supposed to be the real deal. I think you give him a chance before moving a sophomore back to quarterback.

Yeah, we really don't need a super fast guy just a solid runner and a good passer.

Kid looks great, outstanding passer. Not sure where you get your information but, in this case, I sure hope its right.
