    CNN likes our recruiting start

The Cornhuskers more than doubled their commitment total over the course of the past 10 days, grabbing pledges from Lincoln (Neb.) Southwest linebacker
    Josh Banderas
    , Milton (Wisc.) defensive end
    A.J. Natter
and Youngstown (Ohio) Cardinal Mooney linebacker
    Courtney Love
. Nebraska now has five commits -- three coming from coveted four-star prospects.Banderas, a 6-foot-2, 210-pound force, is ranked as the top prospect in the state of Nebraska. Natter is fresh off a junior campaign in which he tallied 76 tackles and eight sacks, and Love selected the Huskers over Big Ten rivals Ohio State, Michigan State and Illinois. Bo Pelini's vaunted defense could soon receive some high-powered reinforcements.

    Me likey.........
Full disclosure: I grew up in an era of Husker football when it was blasphemous for a coach to say he was "spooked" out of calling a run play. Of course, that was when hard-nosed running defined the program.

It's difficult to establish a strong run game without firm resolve. Daily resolve. In too many instances ó such as when Nebraska calls for passes on third-and-3 in four-down territory ó a lack of commitment is evident.

    Hopefully quality AND quantity.
If you continue to have your practices open to the public, donít be surprised if they show up. All of them.

Greatness is made in empty stadiums, but itís revealed in full stadiums.

a lot of the guys we have committed and are looking to bring him may make a bigger case for themselves during their senior years also. We have a bunch of studs on the board.
