ain't that the truth.
Speaking of these...
I always get the urge to ram the vehicle in front of me when they just carelessly toss a cigarette butt out their window onto the side of the road...Is there a statute that would release me from any liability from the damage caused? I could state that I was trying to prevent a forest/bush fire??? Or those who do toss them are causing eco-terrorism-which would fall under department of homeland security???

All I said is that there could be multiple reasons for the mess. Tell me, exactly how is that defending the indefensible?
You have landed on hypocritical green louts as the only possible reason. And you're sticking to it based on a photo taken by someone you don't know in a city 1,800 miles from here. That says a lot.

One time at a stop light the car in front tossed out a butt, and I saw the guy behind him get out of his car, calmly pick up the butt and smile as he handed it back to the driver, then walked back to his own car.

Psssttt, RB&B? Unwad those panties a bit and relax. If you were paying attention he posted subsequent information which debunked the "green activists" angle, and apologized several messages before this post from you. But "you're sticking to" your arguments despite his prior apology. Maybe "that says a lot" too, huh?

I have been to a number of Tea Party rallies and we always seem to leave the place cleaner than we found it.
Went to one 2 years ago that as I was walking out of the event some TP members were picking up the discarded signs and junk of the counter demonstrators.
Go figure environmental activist would trash a park on earth day...they should have gone and cleaned up the side of a road or other areas that could use a cleaning.
(I ran technology for a global warming summit at on of my former employers. All these people that were so concerned about mmGW all showed up individually in their gas guzzling SUV's and luxury cars. Sat in a large air conditioned -- 72 degree -- auditorium. Drank their designer bottled water. Had to wrap it up before 3pm because a number of them had to get to their tee times. One guy had to leave early because he had to jump on he private jet to get back north for a meeting. When they left they just left...bottles, cups, napkins, papers, etc all around their chairs...but they all felt great they had a great summit to help figure out something about having other people do something to combat mmGW...after working for 2 environmental non-profits I found this attitude very common among their supporters.)

In all fairness, Oma found and posted further information that it was not really environmental activists and didn't even actually happen on Earth day.

You and the author of the photo blog, however, choose to go straight to a preconceived assumption based on your political prejudices.
That way of thinking is a breeding ground for hypocrisy.
It shouldn't have to be cleaned up. People, especially environmentalists, should clean up after themselves. That's kind of their (environmental) point.

Didn't see that thanks...

Kudos for stepping up like that when you found the original info to be incorrect, Oma.

Well Pops, the left likes to poke fun at a "Conservative" that votes against Gay Marriage, but has homosexual affairs.. I think this is worth poking fun at.. Liberals preaching green but destroying the planet just like everybody else... The do as I say not as I do crowd...
