Thumbs up Wisconsin at Nebraska to be a 7 PM Kickoff to open the Big Ten schedule

Looks like night games with Wisconsin and Michigan....have to think that is a good thing for us....

Their game at Nebraska will both start at 7 p.m. CT.

Like last season, the Badgers will open Big Ten play in prime time against Nebraska. Last year, UW welcomed the Cornhuskers into the Big Ten with a 48-17 thrashing at Camp Randall Stadium at night before a national television audience. On Sept. 29, Wisconsin will make its first visit to Nebraska’s Memorial Stadium since 1973. The game will be televised by ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.

This is one game I may try to get back for this year. We can beat the badgers!!!

I may very well be in the minority, but I prefer day games.
I really hate Penn State! (And I'm not that wild about Iowa either.)

Attending day games is what trips my trigger. But then, I'm old. I like good night games for TV viewing. Wisky/NU qualifies as one I would look forward to watching.

Night games draw in better ratings. The powers that be could really care less about the fans actually attending the game. I like a good mix of afternoon and night games. I'm hoping NU can avoid the dreaded 11am B1G kickoff window as much as possible this season.

Yup and with Wisconsin, Michigan & Penn State the three big home games this year, two out of three at night is huge for us on the recruiting front....

Those games were hell last year for me. I'm rarely out of bed before noon on the weekend!

It's going to be a great season to be a Husker fan. I bet the Penn St. game is being looked at for an early afternoon kickoff depending on how each team is doing to that point in the season.

    GBR!

    Day/Night. Home/Away.

Doesn't make a whit of difference to me. I enjoy them all equally.

I love the atmosphere for night games. The red filled stadium looks awesome on TV or live and the crowd is usually a little louder and more energetic.

No night games in November is dumb for a lot of reasons (mainly, it keeps the B1G out of the national conversation during prime time during a month when everybody's watching CFB). But I guess I get some of their weather reasons. Many of the teams are further north than us, aren't they?

What's worse are the 11 am starts. Ultra dumb.

When we hit those Badgers back, in the mutual Big 10 opener in a night national TV game, I believe we may have the beginnings of a decent rivalry.
