    Huskers set for Primetime!

    3 primetime games this year!

#Huskers to play 3 night football games next season on ABC/ESPN/2 at 7 p.m. CT. 9/29 vs. Wisconsin...10/6 at Ohio State...10/27 vs. Michigan -- Nebraska Huskers (@Huskers)
    Also good info from Severe:

    One more from Sean Callahan:

Loving the odds. Hopefully they continue in Lincoln and we beat the odds in Columbus.

Wisconsin has issues at QB....big time and we have a score to settle with Michigan after last year....Ohio State will depend on whether Meyer has the athletes to run his offense in year one...that should be a great game....

I agree that we have a good shot against Wisconsin (word on the street is the QB transfer from Maryland is decent but he is not Russel Wilson). Michigan will be a tough as Denard Robinson ran all over our D last year. Ohio State has Braxton Miller who was tearing up our D last year as well. I'm not sure we would have come back in that game if he did not get injured. The odds will be against us in Columbus for sure.

O'Brien is no Wilson....that I agree and from all I have read their QBs have struggled in spring practice....

I honestly expect our defense to make a move back in the right direction this season....our secondary is going to be very good....we will be young at LB but some good young talent....

I agree, we have a score to settle with both Michigan and Wisconsin. Both of those games last year were a joke, so I'm hoping its paybacktime.

Ohio St. game will be tough, but they are very beatable. We'll have to play a great game, but it can be done.

I love the Big Ten TV contract as well. Out here in California, I had to order PPV almost every week ($29.95 a game) to watch Husker games. When NU moved to the B1G Ten, all I had to do is add BTN to my satellite provider and now a majority of NU games are now televised under the package.

I think they'll all be great matchups but for the reasons you mentioned I'm thinking the Michigan game will be the toughest. Can't wait to get this season started!

For football...I only wish they'd have more baseball or some of the Olympic sports instead of the constant replays of the same games and tv shows.

    That's true.

But considering that Northwestern's baseball facilities look like a KOA Campground, the BTN is probably better off sticking to football.

Volleyball and basketball both seemed to get great coverage, too, though.

Night game in Columbus will be a tough environment to play in. I already have plans to go to East Lansing and was debating on trying to score a ticket for Columbus. Now that it is down as a night game the environment will be insane. From others I have heard the OSU fans are some of the rudest fans in the B1G to opposing fans. Now they will just be that much more lubricated. Should be a fun one.

Agreed on defense. I've likened it to Bo's first year or two in the Big 12 as hc when spread was so dominant...he made appropriate adjustments and developed a defense specific to stopping that offense type. I expect the same approach this year with the same success as then.

I'm hopeful on offense and it seems like the first time in a while we have several legitimate play makers along with several players with tons of potential we haven't seen yet that should translate to an improved offense. Again, can't wait for it to get started!

I se the Wisky game this fall kinda like the MSU game this past year. I think the defense rises to the occasion and the offense does just enough for us to prevail. I may try to get back to Lincoln for that one (just like I led the Huskers to victory this past year against MSU ).
The voices in my head may not be real, but they have some good ideas!
