Another rough Friday night for the Big Red.
“It’s fun to watch Nebraska be Nebraska again,” Jermiah Sirles said. “They played their hearts out. Back on the right track, baby. Let’s go.”

Hopefully, that will do them in. This Masc guy is awesome. I wonder how many innings he an go in a weekend?

Yeh, before the game, that came up, and Darin made light of it. What can he do? He has a good sense of humor. He may, well have to need one, this year.

If we can avoid giving up 4 runs in the 1st inning, we could go places, you know?

Have a good night, Doc. And, thanks for the previous encouragement. Now, the pressure is on me? 5.5?
    5.4? 5.3? There is a limit, I know!

Hope your E.R. has an uneventful evening.

Darin feels it will work out, eventually. Keep trying. Kash's "almost a db"l made a difference. I agree. Could have been a huge inning for us.
    Their 3b robbed Kash, definitely.

We'll keep fighting, says Darin. Nied made 2 mistakes, or he was pounding down the zone. We'll get better.

Well, like I keep saying, we will be in the dogfight next year.

    Goodnight, all.

I may have to go to help Linda with entertaining at SafeHaven Hospice. We'll see. I would love to be right here at 1:00, and 2:05 opening pitch.

    Another tough Friday night.
I really hate Penn State! (And I'm not that wild about Iowa either.)

Much like last weekend, the pressure is on to win two in a row. We are now four games behind Purdue in the standings and can ill afford to fall further behind.
