    EA Sports NCAA 13

Watching the gameplay stream right now. According to them they fixed the psychic DB/super LB swat issue. Also fixed a few other super/psychic defense issues I had with past games.

That said, I'm still not sold. Will be renting it first.

Neither helps with the psychic DBs/LBs.

Oh, and I gave up on play action. Doesn't matter the down and distance, a lot of times I get picked or sacked.

The corrupt dynasty and transfer fail errors were the most frustrating part of the game in 12 for me.

They supposedly fixed the PA issues as well. Gave an 'opt out' button if you saw an defender getting in the backfield untouched. Not sure how it'll work, but they were pretty excited talking about it. Again, like I said, I'm renting this first off. No need in blowing $60 of my hard earned cash on a recycled game with poopy gameplay if they won't fix the issues.

I must say, that I had none of these issues with the game, I mean yeah sometimes you'd throw a pick if you threw into coverage, but generally speaking I could complete a lot of passes. That said, I ran a LOT in that game.

Had nothing to do with coverage. It was the stupid LBs grabbing the ball outta nowhere!!! Very irritating!

You mean the the LB can no longer be 5 yards in front of the LOS & cover a guy 15 yards down field & knock the ball down? I might have to rent this one too. That, and the fact that the defense always knew what I was running, killed NCAA 12 for me. I ran PA after 4 or more consecutive running plays, no one was open, the DE could catch my QB, or no one blocked.....even on the plays that were set up according to the game.

That's what they said.. And they showed a clip as well. They also got rid of the psychic DBs where they'd make a cut on a route before a WR got his cut done. They also made said that the LB/DB would actually have to be looking at the QB/the ball before they could make any sort of swat movement (another huge issue). And yes, they reiterated how the 'SuperLB' was an issue they eliminated, so no more jumping 10 yards up and away from the direction he was facing/running to swat/intercept the ball.

They also talked about better passing mechanics as well, but I missed that part of the cast.

In this game will be still be able to use the "players' likeness" or is our QB for NU going to look like Seal and be from Belmont, AL?

There's the link where you should be able to watch the replay of the webcast.

That will never happen. You'll have to either edit your rosters or download rosters from someone else.

I enjoyed recruiting. They had plenty of options for those like you who thought it took too long (like the CPU auto-settings). The aspect of the game that I miss most is the spring training ability (from the X-Box/PS2 days) where you had 12 or so drills you could do and you could pick only one player for each drill to 'train'. the better the score you got, the more points you got to spend on that players ratings. I can't fathom why EA would get to an upgraded system and turn the game into a giant vanilla 'beta', eliminating all the great features.. And for what? Online play? Whoop-de-do. Take what you have and then add to it.. Don't subtract then add.

Agree with this. Also, I wish they would bring back player violations and discipline that they had for one year. Recruiting needs to be changed up a bit too. Maybe go back to being able to spend more than a one hour maximum on recruits. I also think it would be cool if you could scout high school players to get a better idea of their skills during recruiting. Definitely going to be renting the game with all of the issues this years game had. Oh and they should make it so you can have 85 players on the roster.

Sadly, I don't think any major changes will come until the next generation of consoles.
