N2FL Ranks the 2013 Commits
1. Josh Banderas, LB (Nebraska) - recruited by Ross Els
2. Marcus McWilson, S (Ohio) - recruited by John Papuchis
3. Tre'vell Dixon, Ath.(S) (Louisiana)
4. A.J. Natter, DE (Wisconsin) - recruited by John Papuchis
-
No argument with that order and Natter is a heckuva commit in his own right...
Notre Dame only had one Rudy but Nebraska gets a new crop of Rudys every season

Once again Nebraska is off to a great start. All 4 are considered a 4**** by at least one of the "big' services.

Yup and you could make an argument that Bandaras is 5-star material....

Recruit
If Natter is our "worst" recruit....well, I'll drink to that. He is arguably the best player in the state of Wisconsin, so the other three players must be absolute studs.
We are off to a very good start.

No kidding, this is looking good even though it is still early. GBR

....and Papuchis is responsible for half of them. That dude is turning into a dynamite recruiter.

My thoughts exactly.

...will be interesting to see if Coach Joseph, with his own Louisiana connections, can hang onto Mr. Dixon's pledge. Would not fault the kid for defecting if LSU offers, but if they do and he stays solid with Nebraska we'll know how solid our new DB Coach is.

Good point Mort.

and the point has been made before that just getting a bunch of 4 and 5 *s doesn't translate into wins unless you coach them up and they buy into your team concept. Just look at the classes Notre Dame and Texas get every year and what they Haven't done with them.

I know the people on here HATE Texas and everything they stand for, and I understand that, but people have to face the facts. They have been one of the top 3-5 programs in the country for the past decade or so. Texas is a national power. Just because they have not been National Championship contenders the last two years, you cannot dismiss what they have done recently.
2002: 11-2, def. LSU in the Cotton Bowl
2003: 10-3
2004: 11-1, def. Michigan in the Rose Bowl
2005: 13-0, def. USC in the National Championship Game
2006: 10-3, def. Iowa in the Alamo Bowl
2007: 10-3. def. Arizona State in the Holiday Bowl
2008: 12-1, def. Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl
2009: 13-1, lost to Alabama in the National Championship Game
2010: 5-7
2011: 8-5, def. Cal in the Holiday Bowl
Every school has a transition period where they need to replace a key player on their team or get over a staff overhaul, which schools like Texas, USC, Georgia and Florida are doing now. All of them will be back to where they were soon if not this coming season. Talent wins and Texas has proven that. As has Florida, LSU, Alabama, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Georgia, USC and all of the other teams who have perennial top 10 recruiting classes.
Nebraska will join them as well, I have no doubt in my mind. Bo has a track record for getting the most out of his players and with the kinds of recruiting classes ('11, '12) he has brought in - as well as the class he is currently assembling, its just a matter of time for the Huskers.

Thank you! And no problem, its my pleasure.
If Red Reign, BornToBeRed or someone else more on top of the offers Nebraska has given out, I would really like to go through and rank each position group and sort of have a 'Big Board' of the players who have Husker offers - not just the commits.

Yeah your right... I live here and hate them to the core but certinally respect what they do with all of their athletics.

If they weren't successful there wouldn't be any jealousy... it'd be like K-State or Colorado.
