    Does Romney scare Obama?

I think he does and I think that it will be interesting if all Obama has to run on is the falacy that he is like Reagan and anything bad he can say about Romney. Hopefully people will realize that Obama really didn't accomplish a whole lot during his term...

So, with little in the way of his own successes to speak of since his election in 2008, let alone his inability to even come up with a convincing campaign slogan for 2012, let the battle of Obama's obfuscation -- and the retaliation of truth -- begin.

Interesting article. I don't know that Obama is scared of Romney though. IMO, that would indicate a sort of wisdom and sense of self-mortality, both of which Obama is too arrogant to recognize. He has advisers that do their job well and a compliant media that attempts to insulate him from any criticism. The problem is Obama thinks people want a liberal agenda. His advisers are doing him a disservice by being less than honest with him about his policies and their apparent "success". In much the same way, a prominent Hollywood producer/director surrounded himself with yes-men who confirmed every thing he did was grand and good and what did we wind up with...?

Latest Rasmussen poll shows that when it comes to managing the economy, Romney beats Obama 49% to 39%. The most shocking part of that poll is the the fact that 39% feel Obama has an ability to manage the economy.

    This poll *should* scare Obama.

President Obama is not afraid of any challenger. He is the President.

Is he concerned about Romney's challenge? Of course. The President will present his policies for the next term during the election while highlighting his accomplishments. Romney will trash the "accomplishments" and talk about how his policies are correct and are better than the President's.

The media will report something entirely different.

Would that be like NASA highlighting their manned missions to Mars?

I had lunch with a Jewish froend of mine. He believes strongly it will be Romney in a landslide. I'm not nearly as confident but that gave me hope.

Obama would be a fool not to take Romney very seriously, IMO. That said, I think he probably does.
