Tommy crossed between the jazz and rock world with such ease that it just sounded so natural....Sratus was a ground breaking fusion-jazz album and made Tommy a star....

One of my top five favorite artists of all time. Was just making some serious noise with Barry Fey and his last concert in Fl was considered to be the launching pad for his solo career. RedR, can you post "Sweet Burgandy"? thanks
I saw him with the James Gang in high school...was blown away by him as guitarst and his sheer stage aura....not so much the James Gang....it was obvious he was way to good to be in that band....
I'm a bigger fan or Teaser than I am his last solo album....but yeah I will post....
Also you can find tons of his CDs that were released in the past decade or so at Tommy Bolin Archives....
Yeah I'm a huge fan too....

Despite his air-tight schedule, however, Haynes found the time last year to co-produce (along with Greg Hampton) a stirring tribute album to the late guitarist Tommy Bolin titled Great Gypsy Soul. The record utilizes unused Bolin tracks on which Haynes and a glittering array of fellow six-string stars (Derek Trucks, Steve Morse, Joe Bonamassa, Nels Cline, Peter Frampton, John Scofield, Brad Whitford, Steve Lukather, Sonny Landreth and Oz Noy) provide newly recorded guitar and vocal performances.
Available on Amazon. I got it for 3.99 a week or two ago off of Warren's site. I has NO idea he had done this. If I get to say hi to him again next Jan in Jamaica, I'm going to request Teaser for sure.
