Red-White Official Game Thread
Seems like along time since the bowl game....which is a good thing in the scheme of things...
Martinez and Burkhead are not expected to see much playing time.....Martinez perhaps a quarter and Burhead limited carries allowing the youngster's liek Carnes, Kellog, Green, Abdullah and new comer Marrow a chance to shine....
Game can be listened to live here starting at 11AM CST....kickoff at 1PM CST:

Lot of big-time recruits are expected on hand too....you can see the full list as far as we know them on the recruiting board....
Nebraska is taking advantage, drawing quite a crowd of recruits to Saturday's scrimmage.
According to Rivals.com and Scout.com, among those expected to be in attendance this weekend are: Quarterback Aaron Bailey (Bolingbrook, Ill.), running back Terrell Newby (West Hills, Calif.), athlete Jerel Morrow (Emporia, Kan.), linebacker Courtney Love (Youngstown, Ohio), defensive ends Joe Mathis (Upland, Calif.), Naim Mustafaa (Alpharetta, Ga.) and A.J. Natter (Milton, Wis.).
All of those recruits already have offers on the table from Nebraska. Several are highly touted.
Mathis is listed by Rivals among the top 100 recruits nationally, and Bailey is a four-star quarterback in Rivals' top 250.
Lincoln Southeast offensive lineman D.J. Foster, a 2014 class recruit, also will be in attendance and has an offer from NU.
And at least nine Huskers who signed in the 2012 class are also expected to be here, along with 2013 class commitment Josh Banderas (Lincoln Southwest) and four-star defensive back Marcus McWilson (Youngstown, Ohio), who will be checking out Lincoln for the first time.

Nice (free content) piece from the folks over at Huskeronline (Rivals).....Braylon, as you may know, was a very good DB in high school too and was recruited by some schools to play that position.....so this is great news....
Five faces to watch in today's Spring Game:
Braylon Heard, DB, 5-11, 185, So.
The most talked about position move of the spring was sophomore Braylon Heard's switch from running back to cornerback prior to the start of spring practice. While it caught some off guard a bit seeing how he was one of Nebraska's top rushers last year, the move has apparently gone over very well so far. Heard has all but solidified himself as NU's No. 2 nickel back already, and his coaches say he's a natural fit athletically and instinctually in the secondary. There will be a lot of fans anxious to see how he looks on the other side of the ball.
See the other four here:

Nice (free content) article on the big recruiting weekend for Nebraska from 247....
Aaron Bailey is the top QB recruit on our Big Board and we have a better than average shot at him:
Bailey, the nation’s No. 3 dual-threat quarterback as ranked by 247Sports, is excited to visit Lincoln after conversations with Nebraska assistant John Garrison and Husker offensive coordinator Tim Beck.
The Bolingbrook, Ill., resident picked up a Nebraska offer in February and has continued to build a relationship with Nebraska.
“I’ve been receiving letters from them, I’ve spoken with them and I like the style of offense,” he said. “I know that their academics are top notch. I just want to get a look at it for myself and see. Then we’ll figure out what I want to major in.”
This is a Big Ten battle, with Nebraska sparring with Illinois, Iowa, Northwestern, Ohio State and Wisconsin for Bailey.
