Apologies for my tardiness.... been busy at work as I'm off the remainder of the week attending a conference in Houston.
So, this will be short and simple -- and I may not get an update done later in the week.
There is a concern for rain on Saturday... BUT, right now the computer models suggest the best chance is in the morning -- and even then it may remain east of Lincoln. Iowa has a bigger threat of rain on Saturday than does Nebraska. So, I'll mention the slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm (and more so pregame), but won't be shocked if it misses Lincoln. Just check your local weather later in the week to confirm that in case the location and timing as suggested by the models changes slightly. It's a bit too close for comfort to dismiss it completely at this point.
It will be warm. Won't drop much below 50° Friday night and should be in the 70s for the bulk of the game itself. Likely be at least some clouds around -- but might get some sunshine mixed in. Winds are difficult to forecast beyond 2-3 days, but 15-20mph is reasonable at this point.
