Given-Price set to move to center?

You may recall this youngman was one of youngest signee's ever....as a Red-Shirt Frosh, he just turned 17 this past October so a very young man...

Listed as 6'4" 285 lb coming into spring practice...

Anyway...saw this tidbit on the OWH.....interesting stuff....

The four freshman offensive linemen that redshirted last season are getting good looks in spring practice (Tyler Moore played as a true freshman). Of Ryne Reeves, Ryan Klachko, Zach Sterup and Givens Price, Pelini said: “I think there’s going to be some players out of that group.”

Price is getting some work at center and is possibly set to move there in preseason practice.

Garrison said Price has been impressive in a pre-practice "ram" drill in which two linemen face off against one another. Price is quick off the ball, Garrison said, a key to playing center. Garrison played the spot himself for Nebraska in the early 2000s.

"He went up against a guy and just knocked him off the ball," Garrison said. "And the reason was because of how fast he was. ... Givens' response was: 'Well, I've never played center before.' Well, how long have you played tackle? He said he'd played one year in high school. So I said, 'Well, you don't have a career out at tackle yet!'

"We're just trying to figure him out a little bit."

Price will remain at tackle for the rest of spring before moving to center.
