Any opinion I've formed is based on the totality of the evidence thus far...including this from the story you posted:

After receiving medical attention at the scene of the shooting, it was decided that he was in good enough condition to travel in a police cruiser to the Sanford, Fla., police station for questioning. He did not check into the emergency room following the police questioning.

It's logical he'd have some scuffs...he was losing the confrontation he instigated. Evidence of him losing the fight doesn't provide justification to kill. So far most evidence suggests any injuries were fairly superficial.

Assuming we are talking about the 2" dark line, if the cut was that large, logic dictates it would be bandaged. Since we can clearly see that it is not bandaged, we are forced to assume one of two things. 1. not a serious "gash" indicative of a head "bashing" into a sidewalk or 2. not a cut at all.

I've seen some accounts that detail what a hard head he has. I read them on the internet, so they have to be true.
