This Week: The Nebraska baseball team (6-4, 0-0 Big Ten) hosts its 2012 home opener at 2:05 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon against Kansas State at Hawks Field. It will be the first of 17 straight home games for the Huskers, as they will cap the homestand with a return trip by the Wildcats on Tuesday, March 27.

Nebraska-Kearney makes the short trip to Lincoln for a 1:35 p.m. game on Wednesday, March 7, before 2011 College World Series qualifier California comes to Hawks Field for a four-game series starting on Friday, March 9.

My directv tech will be coming to the house on Tuesday. I still have no signal. They scheduled him to come on Tuesday, telling me he would be at the house last Saturday!!

So, I'll be here. I am hoping he comes way before game time..............or, after?

In any case, I'm hoping to be here for the home opener.

I forgot to check, to see if the game is on streaming video. I'm gonna' check right now.
