You seem to be forgetting that I was here in December of 2006. I know how emotionally involved you were in the calllahan experiment. Despite your denials, it still seems to be affecting you.

And I think it's very funny that you promote your agenda non stop.

An alternative view is to not be such an egoist (and paranoid to boot) to think that you matter enough in Pelini's life for him to waste time calling you dumb. IMO, he owes his allegiance to his players, his team, and his University, and the universe of the fans through those allegiances, not to individual fans. When he says he does not care what a person he does not know thinks, i.e. us individual fans, I take him at his word. I do not think he is calling me dumb, or unimportant, or backwards.

But if the process is such a wonderful thing, then great to put it out for all to see. Or do we not want the kids at Michigan to become better people.
It may be written down, I don't necessarily agree that it needs to be shared. I think we see glimpses of it - team first (suspensions for bonehead decisions like DUIs), go to class, work hard, be detail-oriented, etc.

But, again, appreciate you being fair-minded as you talk about it.

I'm not intentionally blowing off a response. Issues at work(should've, would've been a slow Monday) have pulled me into an investigation for a failed test.

Californication's slant goes the direction that I've picked up as Bo's "process". Also what I felt was reflected from the players that led the tour my son and I went on prior to this last season.

Ultimately, and most importantly, it appears that the players are fully cognizant and understanding of the process. It does involve every facet of their lives. In the classroom, on the field, importance of fundamentals, both football related and in life skills with their every day lives.

Bo has touched on his principles many times in interviews since he's been here.

I'll try to check in again later.

Maybe Bo's process is suposed to be secret. And the more secret it is, the more questions will remain, so he has us right where he wants us.

I tend to think that there is indeed a process. Probably involves a fair amount of intangibles e.g. leadership, trust, knowledge, etc. At the same time there does seem to be a shift in Bo's perspective that is partly moving away from "results". Fans have every right to question and criticize, and, coaches have every right to defend themselves and the team from criticism, implied or otherwise. Should he try to explain the "process"? It would really change anything, IMO.

I agree and think that's why we see kids on the bench who many think should be seeing the field.

Nice strawman. How much a bale you payin'?

Do you have a video on your phone of him calling you dumb? Maybe a youtube of him calling another 'fan' "dumb" in person? Surely you have a link for that, right? Must have been all over LJS, OWH, ESPN. If not, i could see where you would take some of his comments personally, given that most of the fan behavior he obviously detests is embodied quite well by your posting history.

Bo's probably read some of your posts. (I've heard he does read some boards.) So, he probably would be more likely to call you 'dumb' to your face if you identified yourself. That's just speculation, though. It doesn't seem to me that he would actually be that crass to a 'fan' who took the time to talk to him and had a legitimate question. I'd sure like to see his reaction if you were standing there beak-to-beak and had the gallstones to spew forth with one of your whiny, butt-hurt conspiracy-theorist, BRB-manifesto diatribes, though. Like that would really happen...

You know, people don't have any idea what's going on within this program. All they see is 9, 10, 10, 9.
"The average fan doesn't even get what I'm talking about. They don't have the experience in the game.
Bo isn't talking about any individual fan or fans...he's insulting all fans in general. TO should call him on the carpet for it. I'm not insulted because while I am a fan, I'm not an average fan in any way. You and some of you buddies out here...well, you might want to take Bo's words to heart.

I think your quote function malfunctioned. The quotes you included didn't involve Bo calling fans dumb. All your quotes related to is the obvious and unremarkable proposition that fans do not have access to the same amount of information about what is occurring inside the program than a fan or a coach. Would you like to try again with the quote where Bo calls the fans dumb?

If pressed for an answer, I'm sure that the process could best be described as "doing things the right way." Another platitude that means exactly what Bo wants it to mean, whenever he wants to mean it.

How's your process coming along for finding a quote where Bo calls fans dumb to their faces?
