I really hated those thick red and/or white stripes on our Uni's at that time..those Uni's always reminded me of those football Halloween costumes you would get for kids, they kinda look like the school you root for but not really

I liked it in 2009- not so much in 2011.

Coach Garrison at center. J. Lord was 6 2 220. Tommy Armstrong is supposed to play around 6 2 225. Josh Brown at place kicker. F. Washington and the bullocks brothers in the secondary.

Barry Turner, young Crick, and I don't remember any of the others. Yeah, you're probably right. Easy to sell that one as a defensive system, but it may have been the one guy who made it great. Not to mention, we had pretty good DBs leaving the QBs with no targets.

I would like to throw agility in that recipe as well...our DL are slow and have Rosie O'Donnell agility

I had to look it up, but we were 7-6 going into this game... I must have blanked most of this out, as I don't remember much of it either.

Is this the only noteworthy game of Eli's career at Ole Miss? An Independence Bowl win over the worst NU team in a half century?

Exactly!!!! Just look at what the SDSU Dline did against us a few years back. Bigger is not necessarily better.
