I'm starting to get the feeling we are gonna bring in this kid. Stanford and/or USC will be easy to pass up IMO.
Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known. -Carl Sagan
True however, in another tweet, in which he announces he was accepted to Stanford he also says he hs not decided on what school he will go too...
Don't get me started on USC as a school or football program....when I grew up out here (we moved to CA when I was 15) it was pretty much common knowledge that USC cheated their butts off....much along the lines of the old SWC...and got away with it....as for education....
Hate to lose a commit of that caliber to anyone...but yes I agree with you....

I would be okay with losing Andrus to another school if, and ONLY if, that school is Stanford.
USC would infuriate me. Haha.

"My job as a football coach is to educate and prepare the kids who come into this program for the rest of their life..." Bo Pelini at the Penn State post game press conference Nov. 12 2011
The other schools must be pushing him hard and applying lots of pressure. As long as we've been recruiting him, I would think he'd know by now. Guess we'll know soon enough.
What's not to know? Come to Nebraska and win the Rimington Award and maybe the Outland.
Not to nit pick but he's an offensive tackle and will be in college. The Rimington award is for college centers, he's certainly welcome to win the Outland and Lombardi award though at NU if he wants
I believe he knows already, but wants to get all the attention until signing day.
im not one for the self promoting that seems to have become the norm in sports these days, but i also know i wont be stoping it. so lets look at it from another perspective. if peat does indeed pick nebraska on the big stage, it would be a nice bit of pub that is probable needed to keep up with the other schools that will certainly be getting the love(ohio state, SEC, USC..ect) throw in a few of the other highly ranked guys that will anounce that day could bring us a little attention heading into next years recruiting. how about peat, valentine, shelton, moore anouncing on NSD that they are N...the coaches may very well be in on this free press at the expense of ESPN!!
