King Fraizer Walk On
King Fraizer three star walk on? What a gift for the Huskers this young man can play. His blocking is outstanding and his running ( great balance and speed ) reminds me of Roy Helu. How does a guy like this get passed over? If his attitude and work ethic match his skills look out.
I predict Ron Brown is going to LOVE this kid and ( even with the RB youth and talent Huskers already have) he'll earn some playing time sooner than later.

Would like to know more about him. What can you tell us about him?

I posted some junior highlights in the walk-on thread above. You are correct that it is a nice gift getting a 3 star walk-on. Not too mention the two young men coming from Omaha. We may have a logjam if a couple of them work out!
I would give my life for anyone one of them as i would my own family. -Pops
It doesn’t matter if the glass is half full or half empty. What matters is you have a glass that has something in it. Some people have no glass, or have a glass with nothing in it. So appreciate all that is in your life and quit questioning whether your glass in half full or half empty.

Can you get into UNL with a ACT score of 17? Might be why he hasn't received many offers. Glad to have him aboard if he makes it.

I'm not familiar with the formula they use, but a 2.9 GPA combined with the right classes may be enough to qualify. Some kids just don't test as well with standardized tests.

If he has the same skill set as Roy, I think I would like him a lot. Roy found a hole and hit it right away, no dancing in the back field. Rex has that same skill. at 200 lbs, he is already bigger than two of the three triplets and most likely will get bigger in our weight training system in Lincoln. And it is good to hear about a backs blocking along with his running, especially coming out of high school. a lot of young backs don't realize the importance of that at this level and even more at the next.

Believe me this kid can block he seems to take a great deal of pride in it as his video highlights show.

Watching the video, I like his knee action when he gets into contact. Even in heavy contact he keeps his legs pumping. Reminds me of a former NU RB/FB who won 3 super bowl rings with 49er's. King's knees are not pumping as high as Roger Craigs used to. King does not stop on contact--keeps legs moving and driving or spinning.

" The kids are just wired up when he's around. They know how special he is as a player and as a person"
Fraizer's coach early this year after the young man carried the ball 27 times for 211 yards and returned two kick-offs for 116 yards.
Apparently he turned down four scholarship offers including one from Indiana to walk on at Nebraska. Second team Class 5 All State.
Says he'll work hard to earn a Husker scholarship. You can't help but root for young men like this.

My kind of Player.
I have a feeling not only will he will earn a schollie, but be very successful in the game of life as well.

This is a great story. So glad to read about him. Go, King, go!

Staley running back Morgan Steward in Kansas City gets more attention nationally, but I think you can really make a strong arguement that King Frazier is the best RB in the state of Missouri this year. Basically 1a and 1b from the tape I have graded. One of the best walk-ons in the country.

Does he have any connections on the Huskers? Just wondering what the attraction is? Maybe he is one of those guys that loves a challenge!
