Class of 2013..Andrew Curtis Looks pretty solid in Red and White

Playing for Brophy College Prep, wanted some feedback from some Keyboard Coaches on him. Former coaches and players will have a much better handle on talent scouting than I will, but I like the ball hawking style! Thanks in advance for the feedback, solid school, and student...

I assume this is Brophy in Phoenix. My oldest graduated from there. It's a great school, but they don't play at the top level in Arizona, and I don't think anyone from Brophy had ever gone on to star in major college football.

Yes it is the Brophy in Phx, and they DO play in the top level in Arizona. This team should be ranked in the top 50 in the country next year. I believe the enrollment for top tier is 2500 students, while its true they only enroll about 1300, since its an all male school, it is the largest....they play the highest level of competition. Rob Brown has already been to visit a couple of the other players. (juniors)

Even if Brophy wasn't "top level"...Prince was from Apollo, not an upper level school and..... He seemed to do OK.

Actually pretty good film from what I could see. Like some have said though, you can't tell just how good because you don't know talent level or the size of the kid. Offers have been withdrawn for someone not being the size they are listed at. Unless you are a major stand-out with a lot of accolades, you won't get a D1 offer without attending camps.

I would suggest he gets to a couple of the camps where he wants to go to school and if they like what they see they will study more film of him for sure.

NW, whats your daughters school? He's got some good size kid, very goal oriented. I like seeing the different teams down here, its so much more of a production than back home. Not more spirit.....just more of a production....
