    Ryan Brodie

I was just watching Tom Lemming's show before the all star game and they interviewed a player named Ryan Brodie (I am pretty sure that was his name) anyway he is a O-Lineman, and he said he is considering Nebraska among others, this is a name I haven't heard of in the recruting places I go to so my question is, how much of a shot do we have with him, and has he even visited Nebraska? Thanks!

Has no offer from us....kids will throw names out sometimes of big schools when they talk about their recruitment....first I have heard of him to be honest....would need to gain some big time weight to play OT as all the sites show him at 265....decent amount of offers...

Thanks RR, I was suprised to hear that since I never heard the name before, rewinding it on my tv he says his final 4 school are U Conn, West Virgina, Miami and NU, so thats what got me curious, he seems like a nice kid, best of luck to him wherever he goes, on a related note, I am looking forward to the game tonight and hope to get a few late Christmas presents!

Let me ask a very basic question:

Where do recruiting services get their information about who has been offered and by whom?

And 265 is around the incoming weight of several guys who turned out to be All-Americans.

I'm not a recruiting expert, but I believe they interview the recruits.
A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.

Right... So kids throwing out names is really the foundation of this ridiculous industry.

This stuff is the tmz of college football. It's pure guesswork based on not much more than what a kid feels like saying.
