Yes, nice finish to the half. Way to go McCray.
-
Sadler with fouls to give, uses Hilliard to commit two deliborate fouls to kill the clock, then McCray steals inbounds pass with 5 seconds and drives and scores at the buzzer. What a finish to the half!
McCray 15 first half points.
Spencer 0 points.
-
Let's hope that final play of the half will give the HUSKERS momentum for the rest of the game.
-
spencer needs to put some points up in this upcoming half.

Dang, if Spencer could just hit a few shots the HUSKERS might could have a shot at the end.

ever learn how to use a macro key so you don't have to hold the shift key while you type huskers?

Halftime thoughts.
NU really not playing that poorly. Just missing a couple of big guns and lack of any scoring threat outside of McCray.
McCray was fantastic in the first half, single-handedly keeping Nebraska in the game.
Team really misses Diaz and what he can bring even with his usual lack of energy. Ubel servicable but not much else inside. Niemann is poison.
What is killing Nebraska is the bench was dreadful (which is to be expected given the injuries). After a decent start, team really flattened after substitutions started.
Walker and Richardson finally flashed for a play or two late in half and Ubel is sevicable, but I don't know where Doc can get any minutes from his bench in the second half.
Spencer is going up against one of the best guards in the Big Ten and looks like he doesn't have it tonight. Wouldn't surprise me if he didn't have the flu as they showed him on the sideline and he looked pale as a ghost.
Nice finish to the half but this team is going to have to find more than just McCray if they are going to stay in this thing.
The longer Wisconsin plays around with us, the better our chances. This game is there for Wisconsin. Sometimes teams don't take advantage, especially on the road. We will see.

Wiscy with 12 points off turnovers, NU has 4.
-
NU gets the ball first to start second half.
Wiscy a quick foul on Ubel inside.
Walker a missed trey, McCray a hustle off-reb and foul.
-
McCray hits two FTs
33-28
-
NU picks up full court. Wiscy takes out center due to fouls. Freshman playing.
Ubel gets ball inside but doesn't have clue how to finish, misses everything.
NU gets the ball back.

Nice recap HIO, as always spot on with your observations.
