Verlander MVP
I won't argue against it. Typically, I don't think that SP should be considered for MVP, that's what the Cy is for, but every once in a while it just makes sense. This was one of those years.
Had no problem when Rocket won it (at the time anyway, subsequent revelations have changed that), Pedro should have won with his monster season in 1999 (best season stats ever for a SP, not even close, we hope they weren't tainted). In the absense of a true runaway position player, I would have voted Verlander myself.
