I know that I had set the sliders per RNH's settings and saved it back on Sunday. So I don't know why it would have "reset" or not saved on Heisman. I did try looking at the dynasty in Xbox to see what the settings where, but I couldn't find them...any help?
Dynasty Setup?
You never stand so tall as when you kneel to help a child.
So....the sliders were right, but EA has some strange logic in their main Dynasty settings menu. It was set to Varsity when I pulled it up....I changed it to Heisman, then scrolled down to check the other settings. When I scrolled back up, it had reverted to Varsity. That must have been what happened - I went down the list and didn't even fathom that it would reset the settings.
My son is playing now, and he's unstoppable on offense, but FCS drove down the field and even had a 56 rated QB break 5 tackles on a scramble. The defense is playing absolutely stupid.

Well it will be Heisman from now on...the setting reset when I scrolled down to set the other settings
We can if we find the right slider set. In fact, some people on OS and Utopia(hardcore gaming sites) claim that the game plays better on Varsity than it does on AA or Heisman because Varsity removes the games tendency for the AI to know what your audibles are and know if you are passing or running right at the snap.
Anyways, I think we need to make sure the difficulty setting matches up with the sliders. Cause there should be a fair amount of difficulty in the first few years with this dynasty. My friend told me that the game wasn't really difficult which makes me think the difficulty got changed. RNH and my friend don't have a big enough skill gap where RNH squeaks by Duke(which his team should realistically) and my friend blows out Ohio st with the same settings.
Fair enough, I just don't want to lose every game to make it a challenge for others.
That's fine. And I'm not suggesting we make it impossible for you or any user to play. However, in the original dynasty in 12 over the course of 8 seasons and anywhere from 5-9 users we had hundreds of user vs cpu games and all I can recall are 4 or maybe 5 losses versus the CPU and that only happened after a bad patch where the CPU had a tendency to decide that it couldn't be beat. So basically in the 6* dynasty, we have users rated 1-8, 23 because UNC started out unranked and then Unmartin just joined as unranked Washington St. I think part of the fun of the 2* dynasty will be taking some lumps and building a program.
After this game, it looks like we just need hskerpwr to recruit. Hskerpwr, I know you said you'd be gone til saturday would it be possible for you to recruit from the website if you're comfortable/have time?
