N2FL: What kind of things do you do for fun?

J.G.: Lift weights and play X-Box. And study, study and more studying ha.

N2FL: At what age did you start playing football?

J.G.: The age of 8.

N2FL: What was your favorite college team growing up?

J.G.: I didn't really have a favorite college team. I was more of an NFL guy.

N2FL: Which is better, the NFL or college?

J.G.: The NFL, BY FAR.

N2FL: Do you try and emulate any specific player?

J.G.: I try to imitate my dads aggressive defensive line play when he was in the NFL and I try to imitate Dwight Freeney's speed and quickness.

N2FL: Any particular reason for the jersey number?

J.G.: No reason, I just needed a number so I could get in the game and play.

N2FL: What do you think of the current BCS system? Would you prefer a playoff?

J.G.: I think the current system is doing fine. “If it ain't broke don't fix it.”

N2FL: When and who was your first scholarship offer?

J.G.: UCLA on September 1st, 2010.

N2FL: How many scholarship offers do you currently have?

J.G.: 13

N2FL: Is there a school that hasn't offered you that you would like to see do so? Who?

J.G.: The University of Miami and also Ohio State.

N2FL: What are some of the considerations you have when deciding between schools?

J.G.: The academic rigor of the school, the science field they offer, and my ability to come in and play early.

N2FL: Who are the schools currently on your list for consideration? Any leader(s)?

J.G.: Every school is on my list of consideration. I am not leaning towards any one school.

N2FL: Do you pay attention to the recruiting momentum of the teams you are considering?

J.G.: No I don't pay attention to any recruits committing to certain schools. I pay attention to the players that are already there.

N2FL: Did you attend any schools Spring Game?

J.G.: The University of Washington's.

N2FL: Who is currently recruiting you the hardest?

J.G.: California-Berkley

N2FL: Have you thought about who you might want to "officially visit"?

J.G.: Norte Dame, Auburn, Nebraska, Michigan and Oklahoma - most likely.

N2FL: Do you plan on attending any camps or combines this summer?

J.G.: I plan on attending the Nike camp at the University of Washington.

N2FL: What positions are you being recruited to play?

J.G.: Offensive Tackle and Guard.

N2FL: What position would you prefer to play in college?

J.G.: I would love to play on the D-Line, but I know that wont happen.

N2FL: What do you view are some of your playing strengths?

J.G.: My aggressiveness, my feet and my ability to finish blocks.

N2FL: What are some things you would like to work on between now and college?

J.G.: Hand placement.

N2FL: How would you feel about Redshirting?

J.G.: I feel I am strong and athletic enough that I would have no need to redshirt as a freshmen. I'm going to come in and compete my hardest and make them prove that I would need to redshirt.

N2FL: What is the most annoying aspect of the recruiting process?

J.G.: The constant phone calls.

N2FL: Do you have a major in mind?

J.G.: pre med – human biology

N2FL: What are your goals for your senior season?

J.G.: To make the All-State team on offense and defense.

N2FL: Do you have any individual goals for your college career?

J.G.: To be named to the All-American team by my sophomore year.

N2FL: What will you miss the most about high school?

J.G.: The easiness of homework.

N2FL: What is the craziest recruiting "pitch" you have heard so far?

J.G.: none

N2FL: Do you have a time frame as to when you would like to commit?

J.G.: Signing Day

N2FL: In addition to "National Letter of Intent Day' in February, should there be an early signing period like college basketball? Perhaps in August or November?

J.G.: No, I like how it is now.

J.G.: No
