Another HUSKER loss, dang it. I was hoping to see them play inspired baseball in this game, no such luck I see.

Thanks Carrollton for the pbp, great job as always.

I missed you last night. I wanted someone else to share my pain.

P-ville, don't be so negative!
Evidently you haven't read Steve Sipplersons in the LJS's article outling the resurgence of Nebraska baseball.
Progress, in Sipplersons mind, is having Nebraska sit "on the bubble" at 35-21 (even though at 35-21 the only bubble they'll be on is Sipplerson's)
Yes, the facts are bearing out, Sanderson is here to stay.
Ugh.
"I told him to be patient, that these things have a way of working themselves out." -- Tom Osborne to Steve Taylor when Taylor voiced concerns about the direction of the football program under Bill Callahan and Steve Pederson.

All I can say is, they are doing "better" than I thought they would. Let's face it, pitching is young, and all the "other" schools have the good hitters. Cody is the only, really, bright spot we have at the plate, over all. Yes, there are times when they are exciting.............just not enough to win big. I am looking forward to the future. Whether MA is in that "future", or not, we'll have to WAIT and see.
If you love baseball, that is all you have to hang onto!
