    Creighton vs Nebraska (4-5-2011 18:35)

weather forcast for today is partly sunny, temps ranging from the mid 60's to lower 70's, wind blowing west by southwest 10-20 mph with gusts to 30mph.

lets hope with the wind blowing out that the huskers get some balls up in the air that carry but the husker pitchers keep Creighton to grounders!!!

    Go get em HUSKERS!

I hope to be here for the 1st pitch, but I might be a tad late. Work tends to get in the way of things I enjoy doing.

TBA = Different pitcher every inning
Can't figure out how 149 looks like 200!!! I thought numbers didn't lie?

For whatever reason, you feel this is something to laugh at.

But for the college baseball purist, it underlines the inequity of having less than full scholarships to hand out to athletes (11.7 schollies to be divided b/w 27 players)

You see, the Creighton player pays far more to play baseball at a private school such as Creighton than at a public school such as UNL, and this usually comes to light in pitching depth for a midweek game.

So, the real laugher here is not Creightons pitching depth due to scholarship limitations, the true knee slapper is how Creighton won 3 out of the last 5 games versus Nebraska, one of them by the score of 15-0.

    Are you still laughing Glendale???

    What is your deal?

Creighton has been doing this for quite some time vs. the Huskers, if your a "baseball purist" you would know this.

Of course I know this, and I also know that

CU's lack of pitching depth < Mike Anderson's incompetence

Well, how are you all doing? Had some rain, wind and very cold, here in Poky. One of my neighbors lost a few tree limbs this afternoon. Spring, my butt!
