    Matt Freeman-- Not Surprising

Nothing against Matt, but having seen him pitch its not surprising he got lit up.

He's an average throwing righty who depends on location and off speed stuff to get people out. Matt doesn't have over powering stuff, so he's probably not a prototype friday night pitcher in the Big 12.

The warning signs for this came last week in Lubbock. Freeman gave up 5 er's in 7 innings, including a 4 spot in one inning. This isn't Nothern Colorado, if you're a Friday night guy you better have great stuff. Matt has given up 11 er's in 9.0 innings pitched in the Big 12. Not good.

Lets hope MA doesn't start over thinking the situation and start mixing up the rotation, that is, by pulling Hauptmann out of the closers role and into the starting lineup.

But, then again, I would't put any move like that past him.
