    Stupid Royals.

Lots of young talent tearing the cover off of the ball this spring(even Gordon) and getting my hopes up.

    Go Royals!!!

We are already mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.

I'm really interested to see what the Opening Day attendance will be, ya know, without the Greinke appeal.

I am actually more excited this season than I have been in a while. Not talking playoffs but at least putting a decent product out there. Lots of young talent on this team. Hopefully they can all make an impact together before being shipped off to the money teams.

I have a really hard time being excited with the starting pitchers we have. I know we're not trying to make a WS run here--but Hochevar is our number one?

yep... that's the issue... worst starting rotation in baseball. yes, plenty of good, young bats... but the good, young arms will still be in the minors to start the season. sure, they'll get called up eventually -- but by then, the royals will be eliminated.

Why get excited about a team that has no shot of winning anything.
