that was some action. one of the folks brought some food back to the one still in the nest and the one on the limb jump and sort of flew back to the nest and then back to the limb.
It's been confirmed by a ground observer that D12 has been seen flying around and landed on the top of the nest tree. Looks like the eldest has truly found it's wings. Fly high lil guy and soon you can join your sister from another litter up in The Great White North.

What i find interesting is the 3 kids are only a few days apart in age, yet 12 is 1 week more advanced than 13, and almost 2 weeks more advanced than 14

Maybe 12 got the lion's share of the food and developed more quickly and gained more strength.
(old Gaelic saying)Chan eil h-uile facal sireadh freagairt. Not every question requires an answer.
14 was the one that was hop hovering so much the last couple of weeks yet s/he seems more comfortable to see that nest under the toes than that 80 ft drop to the ground.
Bob has posted a couple of shots on facebook of at least one of the fledglings out of the nest. One on a bluff and one in a tree by the bridge. Pretty cool stuff.
