O-line class is really, really good....best they have had under Pelini...Barney Cotton bare's the lions share of credit for it....did a really good job bring in the O-line class....
Notre Dame only had one Rudy but Nebraska gets a new crop of Rudys every season
Great class. Only thing lacking is a game breaking WR or two. Hopefully someone already in the fold is getting ready to have a breakout year. What was the gist of the WR discussion?
That its hard to grade HS WR's.....top guys in HS don't always cut it in college...Blackmon was a mid-level guy and look at him....Sam really likes Daniel Davie....thinks he looks like a WR, great hands and speed....said WR really have to be coached up....

Thanks RR. Davie is definitely interesting, kinda forgot about him. Good point aboult Blackmon, etc.
TT receivers for the most part over the years are 3*** athletes that do very well catching the ball. just saying....
Funny you mention that. I've always heard that Mike Leach employed one of those tennis ball machines, and he would have the WR's run routes and shoot tennis balls at them, thus forcing them to catch the ball with their hands. That's brilliant IMO, and as you stated, they sure had a lot of decent 3 star receivers. Just curious, does anyone know if NU has ever tried that?
