I like the fact that the kid already weighs 250+....won't have to spend the first two years trying to beef up...he'll have to get a little bigger but not much.

Carter is a 3-2 JUCO player, rather than a high school player. The 3-2 means he has three years of eligibility to play two seasons. HuskerInOkieland explained to me earlier this evening that Carter is expected to come in and immediately fight for a starting spot.
