I just want the "message" delivered on the field, not necessarily in the stands. That message has gotten lost in delivery the last few times playing Colorado.

I agree. There's nothing wrong with that kind of stuff. It can actually be kind of cool. But if you're not also winning it's all worth just a bucket of spit.
Worse, some programs, especially pros, go so far as to encourage it in lieu of winning, when they know they aren't really trying. We don't want to be that.
