Jaz's First WNBA Preseason Game!

Jaz (wearing #14) got significant playing time late in Phoenix's 85-59 loss to Seattle.

In 14 minutes she finished 0-2 (0-1 from three) 1 Rebound, 2 Assists 1 Steal. She was able to take advantage of veteran guard Rebecca Allen sitting out with an injury. Phoenix's second preseason game is vs LA on May 10.

Phoenix lost to LA in their last preseason game 98-85.

Jaz played 12 minutes 0-4 FG 0-4 3PT 3 Rebounds, 1 Assist and 1 Turnover. She and starting F Natasha Mack were the only Phoenix players who didn't score.

Phoenix's other 3rd round pick G Charisma Osborne played 9 minutes 1-3 FG 1 Assist, 2 points. In their first preseason game, Osborne played 10 minutes, 2-8 FG 1-3 3PT 1-2 FT 2 Rebounds 1 Assist 6 Points.

Hopefully Jaz has done well enough in practice she'll make the team. Phoenix currently has 17 players. They'll have to cut five at minimum. Depending on their payroll, they may decide to only keep 11 on the roster. Jaz may be helped by guard Rebecca Allen still being unable to play because of a hip injury.

Oh, Callin Hake was in Scottsdale hanging out with Jaz this past week. There is really something special about Amy's program. That team was, and is, really tight.
